Drop It Or Swap It - Cake Server

I love the patina of old tarnished silver.

Even when it is NOT silver, but silverplate.

I love the look of an oversized cake server.

I love the ornate design of this pattern.

I am now ready to swap for something else.

I have a bunch of photos to tempt you.

I added pearls to the photos since this is Tarnished Royalty Here! after all.

I've had it in a display of old tarnished pieces.

It would be lovely altered with some rhinestones.

Maybe an upscale garden tool.

Yes, I know some of you are cringing at that idea!

Y'all are missing out on fun if you are not joining in this new party.

Even non-bloggers can join.

I have swapped tiny elephants for rusty keys.

I have swapped old photos and postcards for tea towels.

I still have the four tiny old bottles to swap if you are interested.

See y'all!

  4. I love it! I use an old silver cruet holder for my perfumes and a small silver tray for my jewelry. I have a tiny silver butter holder which holds q-tips. I would love the server. What do you want for it????

  5. Donna, I never cringe at anything as creative as your repurposed ideas. I too love aged silver patina...but I don't have anything as pretty as your pieces. I especially love the garden tool idea..hanging in a potting room, what a touch of class!

  6. I love aged silver, in fact I bought two pieces just the other day. I do love this server, my the engraving on it is beautiful. It would make a great garden tool and it would be cool to use that way. I love the swap idea, what you got in mind?
