A Sneak Peek at the Peachtree 23

Another Peachtree 23 Yard Sale is over.  Forty-four miles of bargains set up along the sides of the highway and tucked into the small towns along the way.
I am worn-out, dehydrated, and broke - all signs it was a successful trip.

I met up with Olive from Olive Out at the red caboose in Ridge Spring, SC.  READ!

Always a good place to start the buying.

These are just random people in the photos.

I realized after returning home I only took two photos of the sale.  It was too, too mad to shop, avoid traffic, and take pictures.

I should have taken photos of the goats, cows, and chickens in pastures (this is a rural area!) looking at all the crazy people in bumper-to-bumper traffic stop and rifle through someone else's belongings.

I am way too tired to even think of unloading all this junk lovely stuff.

So here are a few tantalizing teases to whet your appetite for the big reveal which may have to be two reveals.

Front seat - lucky I was riding solo!

Backseat - passenger side.

Another small bag might have fit in that space!

Back seat - driver's side.

I am seeing something just too shabby and too perfect!

A view from the rear.

As you can see I obviously practiced some restraint.  There is space for more under and over this load!

I am now squealing with excitement over several things I spy.

Enough for tonight - I have to go torture my frozen shoulder with scar tissue-tearing exercises.  Yes, it is just as much fun as it sounds!  I will be back with probably two posts to show just what treasures are packed in my truck.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

See y'all!

  6. Donna - We went too! When I got home yesterday I was exhausted. I still have to unload the big items from my car, I took my camera and planned on getting a ton of photo's but like you I ended up with only a few. We had a blast and I got some great stuff! Hope to get my post up today. Can't wait to see what you brought home!

  7. You could definitely have fit some more goods in there, but I'm not complaining. I think I too spy some wonderfully rusty and otherwise terrific finds packed in there. I can't wait to see them in their glamour shots to come. Too bad you couldn't get more pics of the sale. I found I had the same trouble when we went to the Worlds Longest Yard Sale. Driving and photographing and rushing to beat others to the plunder is a tough task. I didn't want to be the one to mow someone over because I wasn't watching the road. Good call. We'll just enjoy the scads of goodies you brought home!
