A fall arrangement for the black Schwinn.
Fits right on the luggage rack.
To my dis- appointment, Miss Peepers disagreed and lowered her head in disapproval.
What could I do to please her?
Why, move that basket to the handlebars of course!
You are so right, Miss Peepers.

What a great bike. I remember how much I loved to ride mine as a girl. Miss Peepers was right about the fall basket. It looks perfect on the handlebars.
ReplyDeleteOh that is perfect for fall! I can't believe you took that to the mall! I'd have kept it...and put a witch on it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bike! Having a bike was our ticket to freedom back in the 60's. We'd hop on our bikes and explore miles of trails thru the woods of Chicago. I still love to bike ride.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the bike and basket! I would love a bike that to ride! But since I probably couldn't manage that, I'd put it in my yard for decoration!
ReplyDeleteI'm so in love with this - usually you see white or pink bikes - I think I'm loving this black most of all now !
ReplyDeleteYes I remember riding on the back - but I remember riding on the handle bars in the front even more !!!
xoxo
CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that the basket wasn't stuffed full of doll parts!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the perfect project to use up any pink peony paint you have left! I'd love to see a pic of you riding around town on your pink bike with a pumpkin on the back :)
ReplyDeleteBike is looking good with your Fall decor......although I think I would have kept it...atleast for this year!! Keep on having fun Donna!
ReplyDeleteoh wow that is a find, I love the old bikes, I would ride it myself.
ReplyDeleteGreat bike Donna. If I lived close enough, I would rush right over and buy it. LOVE it and have been wanting one for my yard.
ReplyDeleteIt should sell quickly.

Donna, I LOVE this! The fall decor you added is too cute! I have been looking for a garden bike but haven't found just the right one yet...Have a great weekend! Cecilia
ReplyDeleteMiss Peepers, like you, have very good taste. Now I'll have to add some fall to my vintage bike, but the geraniums are still doing good! Don't ya just love. It's been beautiful here...
ReplyDeleteComing that way tomorrow. I hope I find it! Love the bike. Love it! I'm looking for something for nothing. You know us junkers.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I can't believe you're selling it! I would display it in my yard...:) Hope you have a great weekend treasure hunting!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Vicky
I love your fall arrangement! The bike brings back so many memories, love it!
ReplyDeleteLove that bike and the basket! Would look really great in someone's front yard to welcome the fall, then could be changed for the new seasons.
ReplyDeleteI love that bike. So perfect for Halloween/fall. Thanks for sharing @ TTF.
ReplyDeleteI think Miss Peepers wanted to be in the basket for your photo shoot! I remember my friend riding on back of my bike when we were kids and her toes DID get caught in the spokes...not fun. Thanks for sharing at VIP.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea...I always thought of really vintage bikes to decorate up like this...now it's dawning on me that the 60's & 70's are also vintage. hahhaa...gotta find me a bike.
ReplyDeleteAlways love flowers and bikes. Miss Peepers has quite the eye for detail.
ReplyDeleteThis little beauty is going to ride it's way into someones heart! Don't think it will be around for long Donna. Super cute! I love vintage bikes! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
