Little Red Bench

primitive red bench, distressed painting, Americana Decor Chalky Finish
A little red bench - just right for a bench stack.

Don't look behind it!

WARNING!

Dangerous living room filled with projects to finish.

The bench is actually sitting on top of an unfinished table.

Bought it at an estate sale.

Liked the detail on the legs.

Hated the finish so I sanded it right off.

Americana Decor Chalky Finish in Rouge.

A coat of Minwax stain in Mission Oak.

I was planning to show you how the finish looked.

However I did not realize my camera was coated in yellow pollen.

So here is a pic of yellow pollen on Mission Oak-stained Rouge Red Chalky Finish paint.

Sounds like art to me.

See y'all!

  3. More furniture for me to drool over. Thunderstorms here today and tomorrow, so after the day job looks like there will be no outdoor time. It will be a good time to get to the very few things I got last weekend plus, hopefully, getting a few things in my new store. :)

  4. Oh I really like that red! Pollen is awful this time of year! I'm waiting for the pines to bloom and cover us in yellow. Ugh!

  13. That red is great! It's so fun. So much better than the original finish. Our allergy season is coming soon. I can feel it in my eyes and nose already.
