I have read and read and read until it is getting a bit shabby.
The articles are fantastic and the photography is beautiful.
Fifi O'Neill did a fabulous job on the magazine and I hope she is working on one for the winter.
But of all the articles, I fell into deep lust for WOAD!
A natural dye of an amazing blue.
You have to see it to believe the depth of the color.
The plant.
The dye.
These two images are from Google images.
The result.

When I first glanced a the post title on my sidebar, I thought it said Lust for Wood...:) When I started reading I realized it said Woad. I've never seen it before, but it is a beautiful shade of blue. Have you ordered any yet? f so, can't wait to see what you do with it! Have a fabulous Monday...:)

ReplyDeleteI too love the colors of woad. I discovered it when I was ordering a french blue duvet cover for my master bedroom. Mine is the lighter of the blues and I just love it.
