So without further ado, here are my finds from this past week.
A small birdcage.
A stack of assorted wire baskets.
Four small cupboard doors.
A roll of rusty wire.
I was out of rusty wire - how that happened I have no idea!
I seriously considered taking off for the 127 Corridor Sale, but decided it was too hot, too slow, and too long.
I bought my shopping cart and luggage just in case.
More luggage.
The suitcase in the back is trashed - crushed beyond repair, but not without its charms.
Well, they are hidden charms.
I imagined this set painted in multiple layers of white, green and turquoise.
However I already had numerous painting projects so it went to the booth like it was.
I bought the tricycle because it made me smile.
I have it at the end of the driveway.
It will eventually make its way to the booth.
This smug lady had to come home to visit for awhile.
She is off to one of the booths this weekend.
Maybe.
An odd choice for a Friday Finds post - eight cans of spray paint.
I paid only $19.48 for all!
Ollie's rocks.
I have these two finds - a cherub plaque and a mold right inside the front door.
They will be around to greet you.
See y'all!

If you were going to fall off the wagon , it was the right time !! I would love the chair and table painted white for me, myself and I. The smug lady , I love the two texture's , keeper. Paint on sale, how could you go wrong ??!!?? My last favorite was the cherub plaque, I wouldn't be able to part with that, adorable. How much did you put on that table and chair ?? Great find's and like I said great time to fall !! See ya Sunday for a quickie,TT
ReplyDeleteYou fell off the wagon into some great finds! I am missing the WLYS this year again but must take care of my grands! I don't NEED more junk but when has that ever stopped me!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda
I am intrigued as to what you will do with the crushed suitcase!! :-)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I am stumped and curious. What does one do with chicken wire and a crushed suitcase? I can't wait to see what you create! The lady is very interesting. I don't think I would be able to let her go!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you do with your re loves. Love the tricycle. Adorable.

Really cool finds this week Donna! Do you sell the suitcases as is or do you do something to them?
ReplyDeleteTania
You might as well admit it. We know you ride the trike up and down the driveway. My mother always said to never run out of the essentials--milk, bread, eggs, and rusty chicken wire. There is a major stop on the 127 sale about a half hour east of here. I've been debating going over this weekend.
ReplyDeletei am poor and i live through you doing all the shopping so thank you for falling off the wagon ... i hope you didn't hurt yourself xx
ReplyDeleteOuch! That fall was not unexpected however!! I search Craigslist and then do not go out to get things!
ReplyDeleteThere are worse thing you could do than thrift an item or two...I'm singing that to the tune of the Grease song. You should get a pockets style tv show 😊 cool finds.
ReplyDeleteLove that table and chair set, and that trike is pretty sweet.
ReplyDeleteWell Donna, if you had to fall off the "junking wagon", you fell in the right direction of some pretty neat stuff. I love the little tricycle.

Another great haul. I like the thought of you with your suitcase packed, ready for adventures.

Good stuff, Donna. I'm back from the 127 and, to be honest, we didn't even touch it the way Melissa did. Wow, that girl really worked it. My sisters & I must be getting old because we didn't feel like driving forever and sorting past clothes and toys. We stopped at a few clustered places, then ended up in some of our favorite haunts. Still managed to fill the Rav, though. And the Venza.
ReplyDeleteI swear Donna, your pickin skills are amazing. I could look for days and not find as much as you find in a day. Love that little tricycle, it would be so cute painted pink!
ReplyDeleteI thought about making that trip too, but agree with you, that it's too hot, too slow and I'm not up to it. Maybe next year.
hugs

Hi Donna!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you fell off the wagon, I love these posts! ;)
Love the tricycle and bet it looks super cute in your driveway!
You would definitely love the 127 Sale. I can't tell you how many times I saw something and thought to myself "Donna would love this."
ReplyDeleteDonna, love your finds! Not sure which would be my favorite but I am loving the rusty wire!
ReplyDeleteYou found some fun pieces. The tricycle caught my eye. We've been cleaning out my husband's grandfather's barn and we ran across his sister's old tricycle. It was in need of paint and a few pieces but we had it fixed up pretty nice and gave it to her last month for her 60th birthday! My hubby even wrote a poem for her, too. She was happily surprised. It will be put back into use with her three grandkids now! I hope you enjoy your trike as much as she does!
ReplyDeleteWell Donna, you moved so much stuff that I think you deserved a junkin reward! lol! I have a little tricycle like that and love it! And yes, one can't be without rusty wire! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
