Love My Luggage!

I am loving my load of luggage!

First up is this pair.  I was so excited about a matching pair, I did not clean them before introducing them to you.

A small suitcase and the matching train case.

Just a little cleaning and some polish.  The insides are clean!

THE SPY WHO LOVED ME!

I am positive, totally sure, absolutely certain, beyond a doubt that a spy was involved in this case.

The spy who loved me at first sight.

Inside a 1980 Delta Airlines calendar.

Necessary to plan your escapades.

BRITISH!  Doesn't that just scream spy to you?

Wonder what can be found in Donnington, Telford?

Spy headquarters?

Snap-out file folders on the top.

A small writing desk when the case is opened.  This also snaps out.

Spacious underneath for all sorts of spy paraphernalia!

I looked and looked for secret compartments, but could not find any.

Wonder where the trigger for the secret derringer is?

Lovely leather in olive green - drab enough to blend in!

I love this briefcase.

Needs some polish and a little love.

I try to restrain myself, but I can never resist the allure of the brown leather Samsonite suitcases.

They just scream travel. travel, travel to me.

Plus they are capable of hiding a multiple of sins.

Like a huge craft stash!

Okay, Arthur Glassman is probably in from the cold world of espionage, the little black pair of cases are on their way to be beautiful, and the Samsonite is making himself extremely useful.  So all my luggage lovelies are happy.

And so am I.

See y'all!

  3. Love all the luggage Donna! My daughter has a really cool old briefcase that we found thrifting one day as well as a couple suitcases and a train case in her travel themed bedroom in her apartment. I decoupaged travel themed scrapbook paper on the inside of her train case and she stores her perfumes in it open on her dresser. One of the suitcases belonged to my granny and another I found thrifting....it is so cute, light blue with flecks of glitter in it. I always wondered who it might have belonged to...:) Thanks for sharing!

  5. Hi Donna, You really have some neat suitcases. I had one like the brown leather one. I polished it with brown shoe polish and it looked good. Great finds...Connie

  6. Looks to me like you should take a cue from those adorable pieces of luggage and take a journey of your own. Maybe do a little spying on the side. Heck, you have all you need in that one suitcase. I love the first one with the slightly curved top. Classy and cool!
