Fluffed and Stuffed

When over 200,000 people descend upon your area, you better be ready.  I have spent much of this week fluffing and stuffing my booth as the Master's Golf Tournament plays out its drama.

I have tagged hundreds of small items and primped the displays daily.

One last day - Sunday.  I will then collapse in a tired heap.

BUT I have a shopping trip planned for Tuesday - that will perk me up!

As for now enjoy the photos.  Some items are sold and displays have been rearranged, but essentially these are my two booths.

I always try to have easily packable items for visitors.

I have tagged another fifty or so books tonight to take.

Vintage books sell fast.

All that is left of the hares.  No more until next year.

I will need to replenish the paper tags and book pages next week.

Sorry about the wonky colors.  This booth is dark and I lightened it just a teensy bit too much!

That darn Pic Monkey!

There are several things at marked down prices.  I am trying to clear out some things to make room for new.

This is the entrance of the smaller booth - pretty in pink and green.

I just remembered I forgot to take a box of vintage frames today.

More work for tomorrow!

Stacks of lace panels and tablecloths.

The twig furniture looks great on a primitive bench.

Vintage ticking cases and fabrics.

People must be wondering what to do with these.  They are in different places every day!

Here we are - come and get whatever you desire.  There are over a hundred dealers selling everything antique, vintage, or contemporary.

I am so tired that I wish I had just left in the typos and let you decipher what I had written!  I will be back with a project or two later in the week and of course I will share our finds from the trip on Tuesday!

You don't think I would go anywhere without buying something rusty, crusty, or old?

See y'all!

  7. Good Afternoon Donna, Wow you have lots of fabulous things to sell. I am not surprised vintage books sell quickly.... they are the one thing I love hunting out.
I noticed your woven baskets....I love the three of them...I wish I lived closer as I would love to visit and I certainly would have bought the baskets, one for me, one for my daughter Natasha and one for my youngest daughter, Danielle.
Not long now and you will be able to put your feet up and have a cup of tea.
    Best Wishes

  8. I really must get over there to your booths. You know I like all the pink. We went to a charming log cabin wedding yesterday that took almost all day and today I fell on the deck while staining a frame-just all me caddywampus. I have so much to do but now am slowing down. Sounds like you need to rest a spell too. xo, Olive

  10. I hope you did great Donna! Your booths are stocked with so much amazing stuff, I'm sure they've been very busy. I remember many of those things from your posts. You'll definitely deserve a day off tomorrow that's for sure. :)

  11. WOW! Impressive amount of stuff! Oh how I wish I could quit teaching and sell stuff...:) I hope to open my ETSY store soon and have thought about renting a spot in a local antique mall, but I don;t know if it would make enough to be worth doing it. Maybe one day I'll bite the bullet and give it a go! Good Luck....hope you sell out!

  12. Oh I hope you awake from the tired heap refreshed and ready to outrun the competition for all the best stuff. The booth is amazing. Cool purses you have hanging there and all that ticking and embellishments and those books! So glad you've had some tourists in to keep the product rolling out the door. Now you have every reason to buy, buy, buy! Yay! I'll be anxiously awaiting a crawl report.

Fingers crossed no one gets in your way!

    1. And by the way, I would love to see a post with all the typos. That would be perfect for a distressed Donna who has worked her fingers to the bone. Let the typos fly!
