I lucked up on some beautiful design books.
Two by Chris Casson Madden and Beach House Style by Coastal Living.
Another bird cage.
Advertising wooden hangers.
A whole stack of tiny stainless cups with chemicals labels on them.
Some iced tea spoons and enamelware plates.
Six vintage vent covers.
A bucket of eighty horse shoes.
Delivered right to my door by my favorite rust hauler.
If he is in the neighborhood, he stops by to see if I am interested in anything in his truck.
How great is that !?!
Two metal planters just looking for a makeover.
This is hand-thrown new pottery in a lovely splatter pattern.
Unfortunately I dropped the bowl on the right and cracked it.
A large picnic basket with a large red-checked tablecloth.
Imagine the pottery above on the cloth with berries in the bowls.
I plan to stay home and work on projects instead of shopping.
Of course I have not read the ads yet so the plan may fail.
See y'all!
My Etsy shop is on vacation so I can clean up a bit and clear out items lingering too long. |
I need rust hauler to stop by my door. . . that would be so awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteHow great would that be to have your own junk man delivery ?? I once bought an old rusted bed spring off of a junk man in a Wendy's parking lot . They don't come to me though , I have to find them .lol Certain source's , who shall remain nameless, said you had some great pick's last weekend . Going to share ? Have a great weekend , TT ❤️
ReplyDeleteI love having people "shop" for me. Although, I don't know anyone who will drop it by my front door!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! Those books remind me that I need to find some great inspirational books like that for the end of this long winter. It's always so much fun looking through them, getting ideas, etc. Enjoyed your post today. Love that bucket of horseshoes!
ReplyDeleteI am wondering what on earth you're going to do with the vent covers. They are quite different from what you usually bring home. then I thought of something.... Make a frame of wood, then put four of them on all sides, standing up length-wise. If a candle is added inside, I think it would give off some cool shadows! Can't wait to see what you do!
ReplyDeleteDeliveries? How awesome is that? I've always wanted to make a horseshoe table, but I would need some serious welding skill.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I would have picked up the books too, they seem to sell pretty well.

You are going to have to get very creative with some of those items! Waiting to see it...
ReplyDeleteI have the Beach House book. It is awesome! Those things sell!
ReplyDeleteLots of makeovers to work on! Love the rusty horse shoes!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda
Now what the heck will you do with those vent covers?
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! Yeah, I am with curtains.....what are you going to do with the vent covers! Slim pickin's around here but I did manage to get a few things at Goodwill and Restore this week.
ReplyDeleteI love that picnic basket!! I think it is pretty darn awesome that someone brings stuff to your door...wish that could happen with me! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your finds Donna. The picnic basket looks especially well made and in great condition. A bucket full of horseshoes will bring lots of good luck. Vent covers are interesting ... can't wait to see what you do with them.

Donna, great finds! How cool to have the rust hauler stop at your house! I need one to do a house call. LOL!

So many horse shoes, you can only be lucky now!
ReplyDeleteI love the splatter bowls! I've never seen them in that color before.
ReplyDeleteAnd I always plan on staying home. Never happens though :-)

I always like finding the advertising hangers.
ReplyDeleteI hit an estate sale this weekend but all I got was yarn. Pickings are still slim this time of year.
I found nothing at the barn sale I went to. Even Magoo was bummed.
ReplyDeleteAny word on Miss P?
