Quickies


quick basket makeovers
Nothing is more gratifying than a quickie basket makeover unless it is THREE basket makeovers.






Last Thursday was one of those rare January days with temps in the sixties and plenty of sunshine. 

 I spent most of the day outside painting and sanding and sanding and painting.

 Here's the class photo of the three baskets.





And here's how they started out.

 A brand new can of Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze.










Fifteen minutes later the baskets were basking in the sun.


They were quite lovely, but needed some torn cotton ribbons for a fashion flair. 












For this small basket - a piece of vintage crochet.




Last a basket perfect for a warm winter day picnic.

    I like your Blue Ocean Breeze basket's better than the White Winter Wonderland that now surround's me in Ohio !! Do you use a certain finish spray paint on your basket's ? I inquiring mind's would love to know :) Take care , TT ❤️

    I LOVE that color of Krylon and have used it on many things! I have lots of baskets lined up to paint....in the Spring.

    Love the baskets and the ties really set them off.
    Been real cold here in Ohio but I think we may be on the verge of a heat wave!

    I think we all love spray paint...it can change a whole room with just one little piece sprayed a different color...and it's so fast...

    I love these . . . with Easter and Spring right around the corner, these are perfect. I can see them filled with jars that are then filled with tulips. So Pretty, love the blue :)
