Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

I believe angels walk among us every day.  We need them near.

I have many angels for different seasons.  Please allow me to feature the ones who come out at Christmas.

This cabinet sits to the side of the living room tree with a trunk tray on top.

The Madonna and child with an angel in the print is the centerpiece for the tray.

The little angel with the wreath is a December angel given to me when I was born by my granny.
 Angel tree toppers

The two on the sides are from friends' childhoods.  They did not want them anymore.

The middle one I bought in the original box.

I usually display my angels with birds.

The angel in blue is another purchased tree topper.

The others were made by my cousin.

These two were in great condition at an after Christmas sale at the thrift store for fifty cents.

Their sweet faces made me take them home.

This angel guards the bottom shelf of the cabinet with her shepherd's crook.

Why she is holding it is a riddle.

The blue bird was painted by my niece Olivia.

A plush Snowbaby angel sits behind the tree.   I have a number of Snowbabies, but they stayed in their boxes this year.

A grapevine angel from a student watches over the foyer.

These two primitive angels with their kitty sit out most of the time in the den.

See y'all!

  1. My mom collects angels, Christmas time gives her a chance to display them in full force. So I love this post.
