Laid out on screens to get a quick spritz of walnut ink.
Left to dry outside.
The backs are painted with green craft paint.
I printed out a gazillion Old World Santa images from The Graphics Fairy.
I cut them all out while watching movies.
Mod Podged them on the front of the tags.
Stamped Christmas images on both the front and back.
Now the Old World Santa tags are ready to be used in various projects and for gift tags.
See y'all!

Love these Donna--might be borrowing this idea, if you don't mind :)
ReplyDeleteAnother area where our work sometimes goes unrecognized.....my sister regularly makes our tags. They look great, Donna.
ReplyDeleteI just love your tags. You always make me want to make some but I doubt they would ever turn out as nice as yours. They are definitely your niche.
ReplyDeleteWell Donna ... you did it again ... impressed me !!
ReplyDeleteLove how you decorated the tags with the vintage Santa Claus graphics and stamps.
Very creative.
Hi Donna,
ReplyDeleteWow I really love this idea and they came out beatiful!
I co-host a blog party on Monday's called Cooking and Crafting with J & J. I'd love to have you share this with us. Thanks.
Have a wonderful day and week.
Julie xo
I LOVE your tags. I'm thinking I could do a similar dying technique and cut up some old used greeting cards or something. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove these! They are beautiful, and I think I know what I'm doing for my tags this year! :) Thanks for the inspiration! ~Rhonda
ReplyDeleteSuper cute Donna.
ReplyDeleteYour tags are all the bee's knees.
ReplyDeleteLove your image choices and stamps! I think I have a pile of those plain tags somewhere, I need to get cracking! xoKathleen
ReplyDeleteLove the screen idea, clever lady. I haven't made tags in years...it's so fun. I made each son a tag theme and used them over and over.
ReplyDeleteLove your Santa tags and I need to hop over and see what goodies you have added to your shop. xo, T.
I don't know why, but I never knew you could mod podge on paper. I always wondered how you got the print. Shows how much I know.
