I told them if they were sound asleep Santa would fill them and kiss them goodnight. Then, while they were sleeping, I put red lipstick on my finger and touched it on their nose. Every year...even after they were too big to believe, they still ran to the bathroom mirror to see if they had a "santa kiss" on their nose. Our very own so...Donna, once again, very nostalgic! Our very own socks were filled with candies and fruit and hung somewhere near the tree since we didn't have a fireplace. There were seven of us growing up so no fancy decorations, but I do remember the best of holiday times with my brothers (no longer with us)and sister.
